President's Day

Yesterday (Monday February 15) was president's day. I hope you all took time to remember our great USA presidents. Here are some of my favorite presidents.

George Washington (1732-1799) born in Pope's Creek, Virginia. Federalist: Our first president (1789-1797). Before he became president, he was a General, who led the American troops against the British to get our independance.

Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) born in Hardin, Kentucky. Republican: Was our 16th president (1861-1865). Led America through the civil war (1861-1865). Assassinated in Ford`s Theater in Washington D.C. , Maryland by John Wilkes Booth with a 44. (Caliber) Delinger Pistol.

Ulysses S. Grant (1822-1885) born in Point Pleasant, Ohio. Republican. Our 18th President (1869-1877). Was General-In-Chief of the Union Army in the American Civil War (1861-1865).

Woodrow Wilson (1856-1924) born in Staunton, Virginia. Democrat: Was our 28th President (1913-1921). Led America through World war 1 (1914-1918).

Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1882-1945) born in Hyde Park, New York. Democrat. Our 32th President (1933-1945). Led us through World War 2. Died in office. Started the Manhattan Project (atomic bomb research).

Harry S. Truman (1884-1972) born in Lamar, Missouri. Democrat. Our 33rd president (1945-1953). Led America through the last year of World War 2 (1945). Gave the green light to launch the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. Truman had no middle name, just an S.

Dwight David (Ike) Eisenhower (1890-1969 born in Denison, Texas. Republican. Our 34th President (1953-1961). The supreme commander of the allies (USA, and Britain) in World War 2 (1939-1945). He was the best General ever.

John Fitzegerald (Jack) Kennedy (1917-1963. born in Brookline, Massachusets. Democrat. Our 35th president (1961-1963). Was assassinated in Dallas, Texas by Lee Harvey Oswald with an old Bolt-Action Italian sniper rifle. Was the only Roman Catholic President.

George Walker Bush (1946-) born in New Haven, Conneticut. Republican. Our 42th President. He started the war in Iraq. Made oil prices so low. Showed everyone not to fuck with America. Was unquestionably the greatest American President of all!

Barack Hussein Obama (1961-) born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Democrat. Our 43rd and current president. First black president of the USA. Is the one who is trying to pass a health care bill.

Main Iphone

Finally the fifth times the charm. I finally got it right after a week or more of struggles.. I added a racing stripe to the Mercedes McLaren, and created a background for it. I worked harder than I ever had on this. Did I stop being lazy and start caring? Hmmm.......probably not, it's just that I got so much better at this. I wish this was an actual skin so I could use it on my Iphone. I could make more of these and sell them (if they were actual skins). I would make it into a show called pimp my Iphone.......did anyone laugh?

Still didn't get it. Wow this assignment is hard.

Third Iphone

Still no luck, but I am working on the state of the art Iphone skin. In a matter of days I will post the new skin. 4 real this time. Hope you enjoyed my struggles to create the perfect Iphone skin.

2nd Iphone

Still didn't get it right, but it still looks cool, so I decided to post this on my blog anyway.

First Iphone

This is the 1st Iphone skin I made. It looks so cool I don't wanna delete it. This isn't the one I'm handing in. I would lose marks because I didn't follow my thumbnails (original sketches).

Photoshop Assignment

Here is a project I had to do for my Grade 10 Communications Technology Project at my highschool, Applewood Heights Secondary School. I had to take a Chevrolet Corvette, change it's color, make it look like a compact, and put it on a new background. This is the first time I used photoshop. After 4 days of hard and painfully difficult work, here is what I came up with. It's not the best, but I think it deserves a 60%.

Top 10 Cars

Yup! Here are my top 10 greatest cars. I put them in the order starting from the top Pagani Zonda, then BMW etc. I updated this with new and nicer cars. Enjoy.

1. Pagani Zonda F Roadster. I bet lots of you never even heard of this 700k car. With it's sleek design, it's your private getaway.
2. Mercedes Mclaren. This Daytona 500 car is the ultimate horsepower machine. One of the fastest cars in the world, but what do you expect from a Mercedes? They only make the best.
3. BMW M1 Concept. This sleek model, the best BMW produced is the best car so far. It might not be the most expensive but it's sharp and will turn any heads.
4. Maybach Excelero. This million dollar luxury sedan, driven around the world by world leaders will turn many heads around the world.
5. Lamborghini Reventon. This fast and cool Lamborghini is one of the sharpest cars you can see on the road. It will not disapoint.
6. Lotus Exige. This new and exciting Lotus is the best thing to appear since the first Ferrari.
7. Ferrari 360 Spider. This is Ferrari's best car. It will not disapoint with it's speed, it's the true sports car.
8. Ford Gt. The classic. Remade with the same qualities it had in the late 1900's, however with it's new, shiny, and modern improvements it will not disapoint anyone.
9. Porsche Carrera GT. The best Porche. This new and improved version of the Carrera is the ultimate Porche. It was the top sold Porche in almost every country (that can afford a car).
10. Alpha Romeo 8C. This sleek car from Alpha Romeo is the best thing to happen. It will never dissapoint. Aplha Romeo has the best cars that have the highest chances of surviving (with good car of course) for over 50 years.
